Tuesday Medley {1/17/12}
An Open Letter to my Daughter is a beautiful letter that one father wrote to his teenage daughter. Warning: it will make you cry. "Don’t marry a boy… no matter how old he may be. Do not fall for the first young man who comes along and shows you attention. Rather, follow that man whom comes along and resembles the unconditional grace of your Lord Jesus."
Shepherding a Child's Heart. Grant and I are reading this book right now. We are enjoying it so much and learning so much! If you are a parent, it is an absolute must-read!
Tebow: How to Lose a Game without Losing Your Testimony. "Christianity is not about winning football games; it’s about honoring the Lord in every situation, even when you lose the football game."
Know a Christian Who Seems to Love Movies More Than Jesus? by John Piper. "Many professing Christians give little evidence of valuing Jesus more than the latest movie they have seen. Or the latest clothing they bought. Or the latest app they downloaded. Or the latest game they watched. Something is amiss."
Grant and I were watching the Broncos vs. Patriots game on Sunday night with my family when this commercial came on. We all sat there in stunned unbelief. . . wow.

oh, for more of that on tv! i pray for tim tebow and his family, that he stays away from the media. because if they get their claws into him, they will only try to bring him down and ruin his testimony!
I read Shepherding a Child's Heart over the holidays - it's so good!! Definitely convicting and challenging. I love your book lists :)
